Chateau de la Voute
— There are two gites on this large rural property in the wine growing district of the Touraine. One to accommodate up to 10 and another for up to six. There's also elegant guest rooms if you're a couple. The Estate has a swimming pool and walks alongside its vineyard. Prices are very reasonable.

A luxurious Gite in the heart of the Loire Valley
— This Gite is situated in the pretty riverside village of Bréhémont. Set in idyllic French countryside and perfectly positioned to enjoy provincial life in rural France even if it's only for a week or two.
Your stay will be in a 17th Centry farmhouse, tastefully renovated with French antiques and pieces acquired from local Brocantes and the 'Marche Aux Puces' which provide character and comfort.
The are three large bedrooms and cosier one for children or extra guests plus three bathrooms. The dining and lounge areas are quintessentially French, a large fireplace for the cooler months; exposed are the beams and the famous local tuffeau stone, mined cliff faces and used to make the chateaux of the Loire. Large oriental carpets adorn throughout and there's a library and study on the mezzanine area. In summer, dining can be enjoyed alfresco with views of the inviting and rather large garden.
For larger groups there is also the option of an additional 'Guests House' situated opposite with its own fireplace, and furnished with a grandfather clock lovely amoire. This can accommodate up to five guests.
Area: The main town of Tours is 30 minutes drive however you are close by to all the major historic and important villages and towns such as Amboise, Langeais, Saumur and Chinon less than 1 hour. In summer, this area has a daily fresh food markets nearby and numerous events and night spectacles at nearby chateaux.
One of the highlights of the Touraine region is local wine and fresh produce renowned throughout France and the world for their quality. Many Parisian chef's await the products such as goat's cheese, chickens, mushrooms and asapargus to arrive for fussy Parisian customers.

— This is a lovely spot in Villandry. You have a small but comfortable gite and next to you a lovely bistro serving lunch and dinner, uniquely many of their vegetable and diary come direct for their farm and other close by. Its a perfect spot for children as they can roam the grounds freely to visit the rabbit pen and other animals in the paddock.

— Visit this link for more information on three comfortable gites set in a pretty rural setting. Yet to be visited, however this appears to be very family friendly accommodation and is situated close by to the scenic and historic chateaux of Blois, Chambord, Cheverny. Les Clos Des Guyons
— Situated in the wine growing region of the Anjou and minutes to the village of Le Puy Notre Dame, there are two gites well placed for exploring the famous chateaus of the Loire Valley and its many other attractions.
There are two lovingly restored, fully equiped, apartments (one sleeps 2-3 the other 4-6) in the rambling, pre-revolutionary, winemakers house. The buildings themselves are set in a totally enclosed courtyard protected by huge, ancient gates and leading off this courtyard is a delightful garden and terrace area containg the heated pool.
